DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
No, I currently do not take insurance - I am an out-of-network provider.
This can be beneficial to you as a client because our sessions will not have to be dictated by the mandatory requirements of an insurance company. Generally, insurance companies require clients to follow certain guidelines in order to receive reimbursement, such as a regulated number of sessions, specific treatments, etc. With me, you will have more freedom to set treatment goals that fit your needs much better. Additionally, a mental illness diagnosis will not need to be added by me to your medical heath records. Insurance companies generally require clients to have a diagnosis in order for reimbursement to occur. Lastly, your information is kept completely confidential, instead of being sent over to an insurance company.

However, I can provide a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance carrier for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

WHO DO YOU PROVIDE COUNSELING TO?
As I do provide counseling online, I am licensed to counsel anyone needing counseling who lives in Washington state. This includes - but is not limited to - individuals from Kirkland, Bellevue, Bothell, Redmond, Seattle, and other cities in the King County region and Snohomish County region.

WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE?
Your payment is due at each session.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Please let me know at least 24 hours prior to your session if you need to cancel your appointment. Otherwise, you will be charged the full amount of the counseling session.

SLIDING SCALE?
I believe therapy is a worthwhile and transformative investment. I do hold a limited availability of reduced-fee openings in my caseload for those experiencing severe financial hardship. Please contact me if you need additional information.
